November Gig confirmed !
For the first time ever !
in the history of the band did Sonic Flare have a replacement drummer, and boy is Ryan good, C’mon of course he his, the band had an awesome gig yesterday at the Tavern our regular blast joint, the band says they almost felt like i was behind the kit most of the time , I’m not sure if we have any pics and I defly was not there to take any as i was on the road , but all in all a great gig, There might just be another Tavern gig with Ryan playing again in Nov before i get back on the drum kit on the 29th at Take5….
Oh and a special thanks to the fans for showing up :-) and all the screaming !

What a crazy but fabulous gig it was !
5.30 pm and it didnt start really well, problems on the drum kit, we simply thought V drums make it simpler but yesterday was a testimony that it can get more difficult sometimes !! Finally after a lot of juggling seemed like things settled down !
8.30 and we started off with Neil young’s Rockin in a free world , what a bang of a start and before we knew the first set was over and the crowd was singing most tunes, in fact they wanted more of our originals which is fab !!!
we started the second set at 10.00 pm and our dear buddy Sagalicious a.ka Saggy of Radio Indigo joined us in the second half of the second set and belted 4 songs with us on his awesome Acoustic guitar…see pic…
All in all a fab show ended with 2 Floyd tracks being played back to back and a totally bang of an ending with GNR’s Sweet Child !!

Oh, What a show yesterday at Tavern!
Earthing issues on the guitar processor, Power tripping 3 times during a Tina turner song,the bass going off suddenly at the beginning of on an Alanais song and a very tired crowd for the first half of the setlist (wonders why, we were the guys playing !) on a sunday evening but still a show that goes on till 11.30 pm?? Well that was yesterday, It can be very frustrating to be on stage with all these issues and it was soi for the first half of the set although the crowd loved the tracks and let us start the songs over everytime the power tripped (for some strange reason and its never happened before, EVER!)….
The second set kicked butt with Priyanka’s awesome vocal deliveries and we had to stop at 11.30 although the crowd was in full spirits (literally) to go on …..
All in all a very memorable gig ! ( in more ways than one …..)
